Surrounded by a wonderful and natural environment, situated face to face with the Atlantic ocean, we found the sanctuary of The Virgen of a Barca, one of The most oldest in Galicia and one the most visited by devoted sea life people.

The curiosity of nature has wanted to play part in the legend carving stones into the form of the virgen's boat, sails and tiller. The importance of The Virxe da Barca is so big that she has her presence in the cultural- literal life. Famous Galician writers wrote about her and she is also present in many traditional songs.
